sakura & rose duo, founded by soprano, Rose Hegele and pianist, Sakurako Kanemitsu presents “Ekphrasis: Music in Conversation with Art” at the Shinkoskey Noon Concert Series at UC Davis. Featuring art song inspired by visual art, and West Coast premier of Ryan Suleiman’s “Three London Etudes” which was commissioned by painter, Peter London in response to three of his artworks.
